As a military kid I moved around a bit. While in high school in Okinawa, Japan, I discovered photography. The first time I saw an image form on a piece of photo paper I felt as if I had witnessed magic. Since then, photography has become an obsession...

While I worked in a few jobs attempting to make good on my degree in Marketing, all I could think about was taking pictures. I began shooting portraits of friends and family capturing moments in my every day life. The more I shoot, the more "every day life" started to look a little more special. I then moved on to taking pictures at the weddings of friends and family.

Photography marks our place in time. It connects us with the people we love and the memories we cherish. Through my lens, I love to watch people - the way they move, the way they talk with their hands, the way they laugh. I like to think that I capture memories unfolding rather than taking a picture.
